Frequently Asked Questions
-
How much are prints? ** New
lower prices! **
Prices are dependent upon print size, from $5.00 - $20.00 per print. You should
note that our pictures are genuine photographs and not computer inkjet prints.
Please refer to the order page for full pricing
information.
-
Can I get proofs first?
Yes you can. In fact, we recommend that you first order proofs for images you
are considering ordering as prints. Proofs cost 50¢ each, the price of
which is deducted from a subsequent print purchase. Proofs are printed in 6"x4"
with the same care and attention as regular prints. The only difference is the
addition of a 'stamp' marking the proof with the image catalog number. Proofs
are yours to keep.
-
What size prints can I buy?
Our normal print sizes are 4"x6", 5"x7", 8"x10" and 11"x14". If you are thinking of
framing the print we suggest 8"x10" or 11"x14".
-
Can I order cards?
If you would like to have folded cards with envelopes, or prints made at other
sizes, items such as mugs, t-shirts, or mouse mats made with your selected
picture, please contact jens.ratsey@saeculis.com
-
What will the print look like?
The images that you've seen on the website as 'online proofs' are dramatically
reduced in size to enable us to show you all the images from each photo
shoot. Your proof and subsequent print will be carefully analysed to
ensure correct colour balance, colour saturation, contrast and
brightness. As such, you can expect your print to look better than
the proof you see online.

First Class mail. You will receive an email from us to confirm your order
receipt and also to let you know when the photos are shipped.

Our prints are not produced on computer inkjet printers but are professional

50+ years before fading may occur. This is the same process that you
would find at better pro-labs.
